Shana Tova! Or Happy New Year! Tonight begins the celebration of the Jewish New Year. This is a time of reflection on the year that has passed, gratitude for the gifts we have been given, discernment of where we have missed the mark, setting goals and aspirations for the year ahead and repairing ...relationships where there have been rifts. May we all be granted a year of health, joy, peace and hope!
I am happy to announce that I have earned the endorsement of the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, the largest labor federation in Washington State, providing a voice for over 550,000 union workers and their families in over 600 local unions and labor councils.
I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Seattle Education Association and was delighted by their kind words of support:
"Candidate Rave is a staunch supporter of public education. Her progressive approach and advocacy towards education legislation not only addresses the ...importance of early education and childcare by fully funding our public schools, but also encompasses prek-12 to ensure that every child gets the educational foundation they need to succeed."
I had a great time getting coffee with some neighbors to discuss the issues that matter to THEM. I would love to do the same in your neighborhood. Please share my candidacy with YOUR neighbors! Or if you want me to come talk to them directly, reach out through my website (https://drlelachrave.com/)... and we can make that happen!
Devastated to hear about Puerto Rico this morning. As a mom and a pediatrician my heart goes out to everyone impacted by this hurricane. This article by Juliana Kim does a great job discussing the situation.
